Relationships can be the source of our greatest pleasure and our deepest pain.

Healthy relationships are based on the ability to do three basic things.

1.  Identify your thoughts and feelings

2.  Communicate them

3.  Validate the other person's thoughts and feelings

if you came from a functional family you learned through role modelling, practice and correction for the most part  until it became an unconscious habitual process how to relate in a productive, healthy and intimate manner.

Now if you came from a dysfunctional family which represents approximately 75% of the population, the pain you are experiencing is largely from bad relationship habits.

Today you can start the process of taking each of those behaviours apart, relearning them and doing them repeatedly until you get into the habit of healthy relationship behaviours.
